English-Taught Course List

Exchange students may take the following English-Taught courses in addition to courses in their own departments.
Please note that Undergraduate Program Students cannot take Graduate Level courses, although Graduate Program Students can take Undergraduate Level courses.

Residence Card & National Health Insurance

We will collect your original “Certificate of Residence” and a copy of “Japanese National Health Insurance card” on
DATE: 14th, 17th and 21st April
TIME: from 12:30 to 14:00
PLACE: Building 2, 1st floor side of the main entrance.

About “Certificate of Residence (住民票 Jumin Hyo)” and a copy of “Japanese National Health Insurance Card (国民健康保険証 Kokumin Kenko Hoken Sho)”, please read the “Announcements” carefully.

Opening a Bank Account (Japan Post Bank)

Students who receive scholarship from Sophia must open a Japanese bank account as soon as possible to receive the scholarship.
We recommend to open a bank account at Japan Post Bank by using APP.
