学びを学ぶ（2023年度春学期入学者用） Learning How to Learn (for Spring 2023 New Students)
「学びを学ぶ」は全ての新入生が受講する入学前準備科目です。本科目は全11回「シリーズ」の動画、参考資料、課題で構成されています。順番に閲覧してください。
Series 3-8 の各回には確認クイズがあります。各動画の閲覧後に回答してください。日・英のいずれかを回答してください。
Series 9-11に確認クイズはありませんが、最終課題（エッセイ課題、学習目標課題）が課されます。
動画の視聴にはパスワードが必要です。各シリーズの概要をご覧ください。
“Learning How to Learn” is a mandatory pre-enrollment course for all the new students entering Sophia. The course constitutes of 11 sections (so-called “Series”) of video lectures, reference materials, and assignments. Please watch them in order.
From Series 3 to 8, you will need to complete quizzes. Make sure to complete them after you watch each video. You only need to complete either English or Japanese quizzes.
Series 9-11 do not have quizzes; however, you need to complete two final assignments: a “Learning Goal” assignment and an essay assignment.
Note that you need to enter a password for each video. Please see details of each series.

－ はい。上智大学のルーツや教育精神を理解した上で、様々な機会や学びのデザインについて考えるという科目ですので、最初から順番に視聴してください。 - Do I have to watch all the videos?
－ Yes. Please watch all the videos in order. The course is intended for you to think about various learning opportunities and to think about designing your learning, based on a deeper understanding of Sophia University’s roots and educational spirit. - 編入生ですが、「学びを学ぶ」を受講しなければなりませんか。
－ 2023年度の編入生は「学びを学ぶ」の受講対象ではありませんので、確認クイズに回答したりエッセイ課題を提出したりする必要はありません。大学の教育精神や学びを知る良い機会ですので、関心があれば是非視聴してください。（ただし、シリーズ６などカリキュラムに関する説明では、一部当てはまらない内容があります。） - I am a transfer student. Am I required to take “Learning How to Learn”?

There are plenty of learning opportunities outside your classrooms. Senior students share their experiences of learning beyond the classroom, such as Study Abroad, Social Engagement Programs, Internship Courses and extracurricular activities. The second part features a conversation by three students about their experience in circles whose foci are various social issues on and off campus.

【最終課題 / Final Assignments】
最終課題は二つあります。4年間を通して達成する学習目標を考えることと、上智の教育精神「他者のために、他者とともに」に関するエッセイ課題です。下記の詳細を確認して提出してください。

提出期間：4月1日-5日
（4月5日 23:59pm〆切）
提出は「上智大学セルフ学修ポートフォリオ」からです。4月1日から利用可能になりますので、事前に課題を準備しておき、上記の提出期間に提出してください。
課題は上智大学の教職員が閲覧する可能性があります。特に、エッセイ課題は1年次必修科目にて用いられます。

There are two final assignments: one is to think about a “Learning Goal” and how you accomplish the goal throughout the four years; and the other is an essay assignment about Sophia’s educational philosophy “For Others, With Others.” Please see the following instructions to submit the two final assignments.

Submission Period: April 1-5
(Deadline: April 5 at 23:59pm)
Note that you will need to submit them through “Sophia University Self Learning Portfolio System”, which will be available on April 1. You are advised to prepare your assignments beforehand and submit them during the above submission period.
The assignments may be viewed by Sophia’s faculty and staff members. Especially the essay assignment will be used in a first-year Compulsory Course.
