MIRAIについて

2015年10月に東京で開催された「第1回日本・スウェーデン学長会議」を機に、長期的な共同研究や学術交流への貢献と世界をリードする研究先進国として発展させることを目的として活動を開始しました。

◆第1期（MIRAI 2017年－2019年）

7 Swedish Sweden and 8 Japanese universities joined together in research seminars, workshops, short courses for Ph.D., and Post-Docs and academic exchanges between postdocs and researchers. In addition, several new joint research has started, and the cooperation between Sweden and Japan has been strengthened.
スウェーデンの7大学と日本の大学8校が連携し、研究セミナー、ワークショップ、博士課程の短期コース、ポスドクとポスドクと研究者の間の学術交流を実施しました。さらに、いくつかの新しい共同研究も開始され、スウェーデンと日本の協力関係の強化に繋がっています。

◆第2期（MIRAI2.0 2020年－2022年）

In order to advance the activities of the first phase, 11 Swedish universities and 8 Japanese universities aim to further develop and expand collaborative activities in the five fields of Aging, Sustainability, Materials Science, AI, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. We are promoting the globalization of research activities by promoting joint research, training young researchers, and conducting exchange programs.
第1期の活動を進展させ、スウェーデン11大学と日本8大学がAgeing, Sustainability, Materials Science, AI, Innovation & Entrepreneurshipの5分野の連携活動のさらなる発展・拡大を目指し、共同研究の推進、若手研究者の育成・交流事業等に取り組み、研究活動のグローバル化を促進しています。
