Sophia University Entrance Ceremony April 2026 will be held as below.
1. The Entrance Ceremony for Undergraduate Faculties, Graduate Programs and Course of Midwifery
(1) DATE
Wednesday, April 1, 2026
(2) VENUE
Tokyo International Forum Hall A (Official Website | Tokyo International Forum Co., Ltd.)
The entrance ceremony for undergraduate/graduate programs and Course of Midwifery will be held on the same day in two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
The ceremony will be live streamed on YouTube. The streaming URL will be posted on this site once it is finalized.
(3) TIME SCHEDULE
There will be two sessions on the day, one in the morning and a second in the afternoon depending on the faculty or graduate Program.

(3) Admission Ticket to the Ceremony
For participation in the entrance ceremony, both new students and their parents/guarantors need to obtain a QR code-style admission ticket in advance. Information about the application site will be posted on this website on Monday, March 2.
Please present the admission ticket (QR code) at the reception for students and parents/guarantors on the day.

<Notes>
- Due to venue capacity limitations, up to two parents or guarantors per student may attend.
- Parents/guarantors are asked to apply only for those who can definitely participate.
- If you find out that you are unable to participate after obtaining the ticket, please be sure to cancel.
- The admission tickets for new students and parents/guarantors are different. The reception on the day will also be at different entrances for students and parents/guarantors, so please bring your own admission ticket when you visit.
- Please note that the seating area will be different for new students and their parents/guardians
- Please arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, as it may get crowded just before the opening. After the ceremony begins, entry may be temporarily restricted, even for new students. If you arrive less than 15 minutes before the ceremony, you may not be able to sit in your reserved block. We kindly ask that you allow extra time and arrive early.
- There are no waiting room or space for accompanying people in the Tokyo International Forum.
- There is no cloakroom at the ceremony venue, so we are unable to store your luggage.
- If you require any special arrangements due to personal circumstances, please consult the General Affairs Group in advance.
- There are no specific dress code requirements. Attendees typically wear a variety of clothing, including suits and traditional ethnic garments from their own countries. However, please wear attire that is appropriate for a ceremonial occasion.
(5) Schedule after the ceremony
【Faculty Meeting】will be held on Yotsuya Campus after the ceremony.
Student IDs and other materials will be distributed, with guidance given by faculty members.
*Only new students are allowed to enter the Faculty meeting rooms.
