In 2023, Sophia University will celebrate its 110th anniversary.

To commemorate this event, we are inviting your ideas for a logo mark to be commonly used for announcements of various events and projects to be held this year, as well as for commemorative goods, etc.

  Friday, March 24, 2023
• Eligibility
  Sophia University students (including non-degree students),
  Faculty and staff members of Sophia School Corporation (including part-time members)
• Requirements
  The design must be recognizable as the 110th anniversary,
  　　　　　　　　be suitable for use in monochrome or black and white, and
  　　　　　　　　be able to be used in the minimum size (20 mm in height).

Notes
*The work must be an unpublished work created by the applicant and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, trademark rights, or other rights of any third party (hereinafter referred to as “third-party rights”). In the unlikely event that an applicant is held liable for infringement of third party rights, the applicant shall be responsible for resolving the matter, and the University shall not be held liable in any way. The University reserves the right to cancel the selection of a work if it is found to be the same as or very similar to a work that has already been published.

* Do not transform or produce parodies of existing school emblems, emblems, or Sofian-kun.

* All rights, including copyrights and usage rights, of the adopted works belong to Sophia University, and the applicant shall not exercise his/her moral rights. The copyrights of works not selected will not be transferred to Sophia University.

* The University shall be allowed to register the trademark or design application for the adopted work.

* The University reserves the right to modify or adapt some of the selected works. In such cases, the University shall obtain the prior consent of the applicant.

* Entries will not be returned to applicants.

* By submitting an application, you are deemed to have agreed to the application guidelines.
