Call for donations for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, Palestine
July 19, 2024
We are deeply concerned and outraged by the extremely dire and inhumane conditions currently faced by many people, including children, in the Gaza Strip in Palestine.
We must not forget those who spend sleepless nights in fear of bombings and destruction, with nowhere to escape, and suffering from a shortage of water, food and medicine.
It deeply pains us to think of the profound sorrow and grief experienced by those with family and friends who live in the affected areas. We pray for peace in the Gaza Strip and the world, together with all of you, especially with our students who continue their studies at our university, being concerned about their families and friends far away in the region.
To convey these feelings, Sophia University will launch donations for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, Palestine. We appreciate your kind support.
