The scope of the application of the Guidelines

Applicable persons

Harassments committed or experienced by all members of the faculty/staff members, and students as follows: Full-time and part-time faculty/staff members, regardless of employment type, all students with academic or research status of Sophia University and Sophia Junior College, exchange students, non-matriculated students, auditors, students of Sophia University and Sophia Junior College Community College, members of attached institutes and centers, visiting lecturers, visiting researchers, joint researchers, special researchers, exchange professors, and so on.

(Unless there are special circumstances, persons who have retired from Sophia University or Sophia Junior College, or who have graduated from or left Sophia University or Sophia Junior College less than one year ago are also included in the list. However, if the harassing faculty member, staff member or student is no longer enrolled at Sophia University or Sophia Junior College, the person is not eligible.)

Applicable scope

The Guidelines will be applied to occurrences of harassment in any way related to the Corporation, regardless of the place or the time it happened, for example, on or off campus, during classroom hours or club activities, or during working hours.
