Health Services

Consultation with Physician, Psychiatrists and Nurses

Health and Wellbeing Center Health Services supports students so that they can lead a healthy student life, both mentally and physically.
Doctors and nurses provide health consultations, first aid, and hospital referrals.
Hospital referrals will be issued based on the results of a medical examination or when it is deemed necessary for the student’s study.
Feel free to visit us if you have any concerns or questions about your health.
Please note that we DO NOT prescribe medicines or provide insurance treatment.

  • Note: Interviews with doctors are by appointment only. Make appointments at Health and Wellbeing Center or by phone.

    ※First-aid is available during the lunch break.

Examples of a Consultation

  • “I’m feeling overwhelmed. Should I visit a medical institution? If so, I’d like a referral to a hospital.”
  • “I would like to be referred to a clinic around the university.”
  • “I don’t know which department I should go for medical consultation.”
  • “I would like to consult about women’s specific health issues.”

※ The cost of medical checkup at the designated medical institution (Ebisu) will be at your own expense.
※ The medical checkup certificate with the name of the university can be issued only to those who have taken the medical checkup on campus or at the designated medical institution. (We cannot accept the results of the medical checkup from any other medical institutions that are not designated by the university).

The AY2025 medical checkup was conducted as follows

Period: April 6 (Sun) to April 11 (Fri), 2025
Location: Yotsuya Campus, Bldg. No.2, 4th floor
Eligible Person: Undergraduate, graduate, and regular students (those who enrolled in fall 2024 are also eligible)

※ If you have not yet taken a medical checkup, please take one at the designated medical institution (Ebisu). >click here
※ The cost of medical checkup at the designated medical institution (Ebisu) will be at your own expense.
※ The medical checkup certificate with the name of the university can be issued only to those who have taken the medical checkup on campus or at the designated medical institution. (We cannot accept the results of the medical checkup from any other medical institutions that are not designated by the university).

About issuing medical checkup certificate

・AY 2025 medical checkup certificate (Japanese) can be issued by certificate issuance machine during May 19th (Mon) 2025 to Mar 31st (Tue) 2026.
・For English versions, certificates will be issued at the Health and Wellbeing Center.

AED(automated external defibrillators)

AED is a portable electronic device that is able to treat life threatening heart conditions through defibrillation. It gives you voice instructions, and you can operate it by following the instruction. We have seven AEDs on Yotsuya campus:
