In addition to Sophia Dormitories known as “Educational Dormitory,” Sophia also offers access to Designated/Recommended dormitories. Through Sophia Campus Support Co., Ltd., we also introduce housing related service for college students managed by affiliated real estate companies.

Sophia Dormitories

The following three dormitories are owned and directly managed by Sophia University. Each dormitory has managers and staff members who support students in their daily life. There are two styles of dormitories: one with well-equipped shared spaces where you can enjoy everyday cultural exchange, and another with private rooms that offer more personal space. Daily meal service is not provided at any Sophia dormitories. Please check the features of each dormitory carefully before applying.

*Applicants to Sophia dormitories must agree with the condition that residents are not allowed to smoke inside the dorm. There is no smoking room. Sophia dormitories are located in wards that prohibit smoking in public areas.

Recommended dormitory

• Restnac Izumikan (Female) / Managed by the Sisters of the Company of Mary, Our Lady, a Catholic organization. 

Other Housing Options/Guarantor System

Sophia Campus Support Co.,Ltd., a company owned by Sophia School Corporation, provides information about rental apartments for college students managed by private real estate companies.
Information regarding housing guarantor system is introduced for international students.
